Automatic page scanning for precious books	If you have a valuable or irreplaceable book, you do not want to slice off the spine and then feed it through a scanner which is what happens with most books. This automated scanner allows precious books to be scanned non-destructively.
	The machine sucks the pages and gently turns them and once they have settled flat, a digital image is taken. Subsequent processing can manipulate the file to turn it into an editable file or make a file ready for re-printing copies of the original.
