Are you 'out of print'?
Have you got a precious out-of-print book which you are dying to see back
in print? Maybe it's a favourite title, not written by you, which you
would love to get back into circulation? If you own, or can acquire, the copyrights for the content and design of
an out-of-print title, WPS can quickly bring it back into production for you.
How?
Using digital scanning, a near-perfect copy of the book is made. This is
then fed to our Print on Demand printer.
 | It works well for all normal formats of book but the trim size might need
slight adjustment to match our house sizes.

| It can cope with diagrams and half-tone photos, so it is excellent for
textbooks. |
| It cannot manage colour integrated into the text. |
| The scanning does not use character recognition, which has the advantage
that there is no need to
proof-read. |
The preliminary pages will have to be changed and a new
ISBN issued, creating a new edition of the book.
However, if you want to make amendments to the text or add new pictures, you will probably have to go through
a new design process.
So this is a low-cost way to bring out-of-print books back into print and to
enable them to be republished.
